Peter Brennan, Vice Chair and former President of Daymon Worldwide, a privately held international company specializing in the sales and marketing of private label consumer products. Peter has spent his career working with leading retail, wholesale, and food service companies in the U.S. and abroad. He is an active member of the Private and Public, Scientific, Academic and Consumer Food Policy Group at Harvard Business School and a participant in CIES.
Gary Hirshberg, President and CE-Yo of Stonyfield Farm, the world’s largest manufacturer of organic yogurt. Gary has overseen Stonyfield’s growth from infancy as a 7-cow organic farming school in 1983 to over $300 million in annual sales. This growth has been built with innovative marketing techniques that often combine the social, environmental, and financial missions of the company. One of the company’s five missions is “to serve as a model that environmentally and socially responsible businesses can also be profitable.” He serves on several corporate and non-profit boards including Applegate Farms, Honest Tea, Peak Organic Brewing Company, Climate Counts, Stonyfield Europe, Ltd, Glenisk, Ltd and the Danone Communities Fund.
Gustavo Valle, President and CEO of The Dannon Company, Inc., the best-selling brand of yogurt worldwide and a company recognized for supporting the relationship between nutrition and better health. Gustavo has extensive experience in consumer packaged goods and finance. He started his career within Danone in 1996 in Argentina as CFO and then CEO. In 2004, he became CEO of Danone Brazil, managing a $550 million business along with a brand portfolio of regional and global fresh dairy and water brands. In both businesses, Valle achieved significant success in top-line growth and profitability.
