Your Commitment

The Full Yield™ Program is a 12-month program designed to change the way you eat for the rest of your life. The program is divided into Four Phases:

I. Enrollment

We collect your baseline clinical, diet and lifestyle history in our health and dietary pattern surveys, and your biometrics during a brief meeting with a member of The Full Yield™ Team at your place of employment or at participating grocery stores. A simple at-home kit is used to test your cholesterol and other important blood measurements. You and your coach will have continuous access to all of these results throughout the full 12 months and we encourage you to share them with your healthcare provider for further interpretation.

II. Immersion: the first 3 months

  • Commit to eating health-supporting foods exclusively
  • Commit to setting short and long-term health goals with your coach
  • Commit to tracking your food intake online
  • Commit to gradually increasing your daily exercise
  • Commit to tracking your exercise online

This phase is the most critical to your success in The Full Yield™ Program. Your commitment to eating exclusively health-supporting foods for the first three months is essential to recovering and maintaining your health, longevity, and better quality of life. Research has shown that it takes a minimum of 30 days—and often longer—to permanently change a habit. Additionally, your sense of taste and your enjoyment of new flavors and textures will take several weeks to develop. The good news? During this phase, you can experience dramatic changes in overall wellbeing.

Using our online and print educational materials, tools, recipes and menu plans, we give you the supports and information to identify and cook with health-supporting foods in the store and out in the world, restock your pantry so that your home is a safe eating environment, engage with your family in the kitchen and around the table, and engage in or increase your physical activity.

Our freshly prepared, portioned meals can provide you with a convenient healthy choice while you are learning how to prepare health-supporting meals and snacks for yourself and whenever you want the convenience. These meals will be available at all Roche Bros. and Sudbury Farms stores, can be ordered for home-delivery (along with groceries), and at select worksite cafeterias. Meals purchase is not a requirement for participation in The Full Yield™ Program.

As you experience the physical and emotional benefits of better health, you will find that caring for yourself gets easier. Feeling better makes you want to feel even better…and the cycle continues! In this phase you will begin working with your coach to set short and long-term personal health goals. During set telephone appointments, you and your coach will review your self-identified challenges and make plans for meeting your personal goals for a healthier lifestyle over the course of the year.

III. Practice: the next 9 months

  • Commit to a new dietary pattern of eating and cooking with health-supporting foods
  • Commit to your ongoing plan with your coach
  • Commit to tracking your food intake online
  • Commit to maintaining a daily exercise routine, with a goal equivalent to walking 10,000 steps a day with any activity of your choice
  • Commit to tracking your exercise online

In this phase you’ll be building your knowledge and skills and practicing them with support from The Full Yield™ Program, so that by the end of the year, your best lifestyle choices are your lifelong habits. Cooking with health-supporting foods, learning more about your body and your unique needs, working together with your family, friends and colleagues to create new patterns…we’ll help you with a wealth of information, guidance, resources and tools.

IV. Maintenance: after completion of the
12-month Program

  • Commit to a lifelong diet based on health-supporting foods so you feel better and stay healthier as you age.
  • Commit to a lifetime of using your body, so you stay active and can do the things you want to do.
  • Keep using the tools and resources available through The Full Yield™ website—you’re a lifetime member!
